Becoming more or less is an ongoing series exploring the photographic material I have on hand in my home studio.  Using expired darkroom paper and sheddings from the body I have collected for years I am making photograms with only the sun.  I have no darkroom at home and so the paper remains unprocessed and the images unique and vulnerable.  I photograph the resulting experiments as a means of making an archive out of material that is inherently fleeting and of questionable value - cast-offs from the body - hair, skin, and fingernails, but also the photographic material itself - expired, unutilized, and unvalued.
